We were instructed by a well-known performing arts and drama school who were investigating allegations of serious historic wrongdoing.
We immediately came on board to assist the Board of Trustees and their legal representatives as they put in place a KC-led investigation. We drafted the full communications collaterals about the investigation for the school’s stakeholders including media, regulators, donors, parents and staff.
Collaborating with the instructed law firm, we worked around the clock to deal with enquiries about the investigation, drafting reactive media responses and social media copy. Once the investigation concluded we handled the media response on behalf of the Board of Trustees, including delivering the Chairman’s 1,500-word response.
We helped the school to successfully rebut inaccuracies in media reporting around the investigation and ensured that their positioning and narrative was successfully received by stakeholders.
